RICH MARCH PROGRAM AT THE STUDENT CULTURAL CENTER IN BANJA LUKA

The Student Cultural Center of the University of Banja Luka (SKC UNIBL) has unveiled a diverse and dynamic program for March 2026, featuring theatre performances, concerts, exhibitions and film screenings.

The March schedule opens on March 5 at 8 p.m. with the exam performance “Home” by Russian author Ludmila Razumovskaya, performed by third-year acting students from the Academy of Arts at the University of Banja Luka. A day later, on March 6 at 7 p.m., audiences can enjoy the concert “Dancer on a Wire”, featuring violinist Judit Flidl and pianist Marlene Hajs.

Music lovers will also have the opportunity to attend the concert “Topography of Sound” on March 9 at 7 p.m., with Samuel Toro Perez on electric guitar and Ivan Adriano on electronics. The theatre program continues on March 10 at 8 p.m. with “Chekhov’s One-Act Plays”, performed by third-year acting students.

The documentary “Afraid of Beauty” by Jelena Medić will be screened on March 11 at 8 p.m., while “Stage Games”, performed by Academy of Arts acting students, is scheduled for March 13 at the same time. The exhibition “Gamma” by Marija Babić will open on March 19 at 7 p.m.

The film “Heart of Parma”, directed by Anton Megerdichev, will be shown on March 23 at 8 p.m., organized by the Center for Russian Studies of the Faculty of Philology. On March 24 at 7 p.m., the monodrama “Dosije Dositej”, dedicated to Dositej Obradović, will be performed as part of the conference Philologia Serbica. The animated film revue “Dares – Animalci” is scheduled for March 25 at 8 p.m

World Theatre Day, March 27, will be marked by two programs. At 11 a.m., the play “Rak the Tailor”, written and directed by Aleksandar Vasiljević, will be performed. In the evening, at 8 p.m., audiences will have the chance to see “The Two Gentlemen of Verona” by William Shakespeare, directed by Ilija Zaitsev, in cooperation with the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) and acting students of the Academy of Arts UNIBL.

“We invite all culture lovers to visit SKC and take part in programs that enrich our cultural life. Admission to all events is free,” representatives of SKC UNIBL stated.
