The Superbrkini Superbrkovi team took third place and won a bronze medal at the first Red Bull Soapbox Race in Bosnia and Herzegovina, finishing the spectacular race on the winners’ podium.
The competition brought together numerous teams who raced down the course in unique, hand-built vehicles. In addition to speed, the participants were judged on creativity, originality and, above all, their ability to entertain.
CREATIVITY, HUMOUR AND A LITTLE “MOUSTACHE MADNESS”
Representing the “Superbrke” Citizens’ Association from Banja Luka, the Superbrkini Superbrkovi team showcased exactly what this Banja Luka group is known for – creativity, humour and a strong team spirit.
“We are absolutely thrilled with third place, especially because we were part of the first Red Bull Soapbox Race in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We came to have a great time, but of course every Superbrko also wanted a good result. The bronze is a fantastic achievement and proof that a great team, a good idea and a little moustache madness really do pay off,” the Superbrkini Superbrkovi team said.
BANJA LUKA ON THE WINNERS’ PODIUM
For the team members, the medal represents more than just a sporting achievement. It was also an opportunity to showcase the spirit of Banja Luka, creativity and the energy of the “Superbrke” at a completely unique event.
The inaugural Red Bull Soapbox Race in Bosnia and Herzegovina brought together adrenaline, imagination and plenty of fun, while Superbrkini Superbrkovi made sure that Banja Luka also had its place on the winners’ podium.
The team thanked the organisers for the opportunity to be part of the first edition of the event in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as everyone who supported them throughout the competition.
