After successful presentations in Slovenia and Croatia, Vandri Robotics, in collaboration with Bnt Tech d.o.o. Sarajevo, introduced Roby, the first humanoid robot in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During its tour, Roby visited Mostar, Sarajevo, and Banja Luka, bringing the technology of the future directly to the public.
In Mostar, Roby symbolically walked across the Old Bridge, connecting tradition with innovation. The robot then visited the Bruce Lee statue, performing a short demonstration of kung-fu moves as a tribute to global pop culture and the multicultural spirit of the city.
In Sarajevo, the humanoid robot interacted with passersby at Baščaršija, showcasing practical applications of humanoid robots in public and commercial spaces, while sparking a dialogue about the role of artificial intelligence and robots in society and the economy.
In Banja Luka, Roby was available for the public to see at Delta City, giving locals a first-hand experience of humanoid robotics.
Roby was developed as part of the Humanoid Robots as a Service (HRaaS) platform, which enables safe, flexible, and practical use of humanoid robots in real-world environments – from tourism and education to public institutions and smart cities. The focus is on natural communication, understanding context, and collaborating with people, rather than replacing them.
Vandri Robotics develops humanoid robots, advanced AI systems, and the HRaaS platform with the goal of creating socially relevant, communicative, and technologically reliable robotic solutions for real-world applications. In addition to Sarajevo, the company plans to open offices in Mostar and Banja Luka, strengthening the presence of humanoid robotics in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
