Although she is only 18 years old, young Banja Luka native Tina Budić has already built a sporting career that many far more experienced athletes could envy. This talented karate athlete began her journey 12 years ago, taking her first steps as a young girl at Banja Luka’s Karate Club “16-a”, a club she has remained loyal to ever since.
Her persistence, discipline, and continuous hard work were crowned on December 26, 2025, when Tina successfully earned her black belt – second dan, one of the most significant achievements in karate. This milestone once again confirmed her status as a highly dedicated and promising athlete with a bright future ahead.
Throughout her career so far, Tina Budić has won more than 80 medals at domestic and international competitions, making a major contribution to her club and to the sport she represents.
Her results speak not only of years of dedicated training, but also of exceptional talent recognized on numerous competition mats.
In addition to her sporting achievements, Tina is equally committed to her education. She is an excellent student in the fourth grade of the Medical School in Banja Luka, specializing as a physiotherapy technician, successfully balancing demanding school responsibilities with intensive training and competitions.
Tina Budić is yet another example that Republika Srpska has a generation of young people worth investing in, proving that dedication and hard work can lead to top-level sporting success.
