The bakery brand Manja, owned by the company Krajina Klas, has announced the launch of a major scholarship project aimed at supporting young talents. Over the course of one year, six primary school students will receive financial support totaling 2,400 BAM.
The
project, titled “Manja’s Little Ones”, is being implemented in cooperation with
the Kaća Foundation. Applications opened on February 1 and can be submitted via
the official website.
The
call for applications is open in three categories.
“Science,
art, and social activism are the areas in which parents or guardians can apply
on behalf of their children. In each category, we will select two of the best
candidates and award them monthly scholarships of 200 BAM, which they will
receive for a full year,” explained Nemanja Trivić, Marketing Director of
Manja.
The
competition is open to students from all primary schools in the territory of
the Republic of Srpska.
Applications are accepted until the end of February, after which parents or guardians of the selected candidates will be invited to sign scholarship agreements.
“We
chose these three categories because they represent values that Manja has
promoted throughout its three decades of existence, as well as fields that are
somewhat undervalued in today’s world. At the same time, supporting young
talents is one of the core missions of the Kaća Foundation. That is precisely
why we are launching the ‘Manja’s Little Ones’ initiative together—to encourage
new generations to engage in areas that are important for personal development
and the overall progress of society,” Trivić emphasized.
Manja
has been operating for more than 30 years in regional and European markets.
Each year, the company carries out numerous socially responsible activities,
including product donations to public kitchens, humanitarian events, and
artistic projects, as well as financial support for artistic, sports, and other
organizations.
The
Kaća Foundation, on the other hand, was established in 2025 as a non-profit
organization focused on developing young talents, promoting donor culture, and
providing psychological support to families of children suffering from
malignant diseases.
