Trebinje is getting ready for five days of music as the fifth edition of the Trebinje Jazz Festival takes place from August 25 to 29, bringing a diverse lineup of performers to several locations across the city.
Organized by the Trebinje Cultural Center, the festival will
feature jazz, groove, dixieland and alternative music, with all concerts open
to the public free of charge.
FESTIVAL OPENS AT CRKVINA
The festival will officially open on August 25 at 9 p.m. at
Trebinje's Crkvina, where Rambo Amadeus Quintet will perform.
The spectacular location overlooking the city will provide
the setting for the opening night of the five-day musical event.
MUSIC ACROSS TREBINJE
The program continues on August 26 at 9 p.m. at Rock Bar
"Underground", with a performance by the Vlade Divljan NGO.
On August 27 at 9 p.m., the festival moves to Trebinje's Old
Town, where Dino & The Groove Society will take the stage.
The following evening, August 28 at 9 p.m., the audience
will have the opportunity to enjoy a performance by Irena Blagojević & Jazz
Friends at Bašta 74.
BELGRADE DIXIELAND ORCHESTRA FOR THE FINALE
The fifth Trebinje Jazz Festival will conclude on August 29
at 8:30 p.m. in the garden of Hotel Platani.
The closing night will feature the Belgrade Dixieland
Orchestra, bringing the five-day festival to an end with a distinctive
dixieland sound.
ALL CONCERTS ARE FREE
One of the main attractions of this year's festival is that
admission to all concerts is free.
With performances spread across some of Trebinje's most
recognizable locations, the Trebinje Jazz Festival will once again combine live
music with the atmosphere and scenery of the city beneath Mount Leotar.
