The first TOK Fest – Rural Tourism, Hunting and Fishing Fair will be held on September 26 and 27, 2026, at the Nova Banka Arena in Mrkonjić Grad.
The
international event aims to bring together representatives of tourism,
agriculture, hunting, fishing, traditional crafts, food production and outdoor
activities, creating a unique platform for presenting the region's tourism and
economic potential.
A GATHERING OF TOURISM, AGRICULTURE AND OUTDOOR SECTORS
TOK
Fest will bring together tourism organizations from the area covered by the
Krajina Agricultural Cluster, hunting and fishing associations, representatives
of the Krajina region's rural and agro-tourism potential, traditional
craftsmen, women's associations, food and beverage producers, as well as
distributors of outdoor, hunting, fishing and other specialized equipment.
The
organizers expect the fair to provide an opportunity for networking, promotion
and the development of new partnerships among businesses, associations and
institutions involved in rural tourism and related industries.
POSITIONING KRAJINA AS A RURAL TOURISM DESTINATION
One of
the main goals of the event is the long-term positioning of Mrkonjić Grad and
the wider Krajina region as one of the most attractive destinations for rural
tourism, hunting and fishing in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According
to the organizers, the region's natural resources, economic potential and
tradition of hospitality provide a strong foundation for achieving this goal.
They
also emphasize that the initiative of the Krajina Agricultural Cluster and its
partners represents an important step toward connecting local producers, tourism
providers and organizations with visitors and potential business partners.
