The streets of Bijeljina, the largest city in the Semberija region, are already signaling that the holiday season is just around the corner. The city is putting on its festive attire, following the example of major European destinations, with the City Administration building, the Patriarch Pavle Street promenade, City Square, and the Museum of Semberija beautifully decorated for the upcoming celebrations.
The countdown has begun for the ceremonial switch-on of the New Year’s lights on Tuesday, marking the official start of the holiday season and the Winter Korzo – a place of gathering, joy, and winter magic for families, children, and visitors of all generations.
“Bijeljina is ready to shine,” representatives of the Bijeljina Tourist Organization proudly announce.
From December 23, 2025, to January 14, 2026, the city will host the festive event Winter Korzo, featuring a rich and diverse program designed for all age groups. The official opening will take place on December 23 at 7:00 PM, when the New Year’s lights will be turned on, followed by a concert by the band Neon. Winter Korzo will be open daily from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
