“Trebinje Card”, a new support program for local residents and businesses, will provide numerous discounts and benefits to citizens while simultaneously strengthening the local economy and connecting local entrepreneurs with the community.
The “Trebinje Card” program was presented at the Trebinje City Administration, with the meeting attended by interested businesses and legal entities wishing to take part in the project.
Trebinje Mayor Mirko Ćurić emphasized that the program has attracted significant interest among entrepreneurs, public institutions, and companies, demonstrating its potential to bring concrete benefits both to citizens and the local economy.
Discounts and Greater Purchasing Power
The advantages of the program and the way it will operate were presented by Bojan Vučurević, Head of the Tourism Department.
According to him, the “Trebinje Card” is expected to help reduce living costs, improve access to goods and services, and strengthen citizens’ purchasing power.
The program has also received support from the Regional Chamber of Commerce Trebinje and the Economic Council of the City of Trebinje, which recognized the initiative’s importance for boosting the local economy, increasing business competitiveness, and improving quality of life.
Public Call to Be Announced Soon
As announced, a public call will soon be launched for all interested business owners wishing to become partners in the “Trebinje Card” program, allowing them to gain additional promotion and stronger ties with the local community.
The importance of involving local businesses was also highlighted by Jovica Milošević, director of the Tourist Organization of Trebinje.
At the same time as the public call for businesses, citizens of Trebinje will be informed about the procedure for applying to obtain the “Trebinje Card”.
According to estimates, this program, the first of its kind in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, could become an example of successful cooperation between the public and private sectors for the benefit of all citizens of Trebinje.
