TREBINJE’S NEW YEAR ACCOMMODATION NEARLY FULLY BOOKED

Accommodation capacities in Trebinje for the New Year holidays are already 90 percent full, and visitors to the city beneath Mount Leotar can once again expect a vibrant festive program.

TREBINJE’S NEW YEAR ACCOMMODATION NEARLY FULLY BOOKED

Nikola Kokić, spokesperson for the Trebinje Tourist Organization, said that the high occupancy rate reflects the growing popularity of this southern city of Republika Srpska.

“For New Year’s Eve, singer Rada Manojlović will perform in Trebinje, while on January 1 the regional pop star Hari Mata Hari will take the stage in the city center,” Kokić announced.

As part of the New Year’s bazaar in Dučić Street, from December 26 to January 11, local producers will offer tourists food, beverages, honey-based products, handmade crafts and more.

“Everyone who visits Trebinje, as well as our fellow citizens, will be able to enjoy a high-quality program. Holiday decorations have already begun, so the entire city will soon shine in full New Year spirit,” Kokić added.

He noted that the city expects an influx of visitors from neighboring countries, as well as organized tourist groups from Europe and other continents.

“Trebinje will serve as a base for many tourists who plan to visit other coastal destinations such as Dubrovnik, Budva, Kotor and Herceg Novi. Thanks to more affordable apartment and hotel prices, our city is an attractive starting point,” Kokić explained.

He expressed hope that, after the final review of annual tourism results, the figures will be close to last year’s achievements.
