SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN FLIGHTS FROM BANJALUKA AIRPORT THIS WINTER

A major increase in the number of flights from Banjaluka Airport has been announced for the upcoming winter season, with 32 weekly flights compared to 21 recorded during last winter.

SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN FLIGHTS FROM BANJALUKA AIRPORT THIS WINTER

This was confirmed by Valentina Kecman, Director of Banjaluka Airport, who emphasized that it represents a drastic increase in capacity.

“As for Ryanair, it is certain that capacities will be raised in the winter season compared to the previous winter. Based on the preliminary schedule we have for the season, which officially starts at the end of October, it is clear that we will see significantly increased capacities on all destinations, except Brussels, which—as in every winter season—will not be operating. That is nothing new; Brussels flights resume only in spring, at the end of April,” Kecman said.

She also announced an increase in Wizz Air capacities during her appearance on the morning program of the public broadcaster of Republika Srpska.

“With Wizz Air, instead of the usual reduction in the number of flights during the winter season, we will have an increase. Wizz Air will boost the number of flights to Basel, so passengers from Banjaluka Airport will have the opportunity to fly to Basel every day this winter. This is a drastic change compared to last winter, when flights operated only twice a week,” she explained.
