Stefan, Aleksandar, and Mladen from Bijeljina have reached Iran in a car over 20 years old and without air conditioning.
The humanitarians from Bijeljina embarked on a journey of 5,000 kilometers and have successfully arrived in Iran. They shared a video on social media showcasing their experience.
"We finally made it to Iran, folks. The procedures were serious. It’s crazy. Right now, the currency exchange offices are closed, nothing is working. We couldn’t even buy a SIM card. We're waiting for the next city where it’s not a holiday. We're refueling here, a full tank costs around 2 euros. The price is incredibly low because they’re under embargo and can't import anything. Just look at the cars here – they’re all old," said one of the travelers in the video.
The three young men from Bijeljina embarked on this admirable humanitarian mission — traveling in a "Panda" car over 20 years old, without air conditioning, for 5,000 kilometers. All the funds they raise during their journey will be directed towards the treatment of their fellow citizen Ana Gole, who was seriously injured in a recent traffic accident.
All the donations collected during the trip will go towards helping Ana Gole with her recovery.
