Mrkonjić Grad has officially founded its own Tourism Organization, which began operating in October this year, marking an important step in the development of tourism and the promotion of the region’s natural and cultural heritage.
At the head of the organization is Nataša Arežina, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in tourism, promotion, and event management. Known for her dedication, responsibility, and remarkable energy, Arežina brings a sense of confidence that the Tourism Organization of Mrkonjić Grad will become a recognizable center for the development and promotion of the area — from natural beauty and cultural heritage to modern tourist offerings.
“We invite everyone to follow our pages and stay updated with all the activities, events, and offers from our municipality,” said representatives of the newly established Tourism Organization of Mrkonjić Grad.
The organization has already taken its first official step by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Agricultural Cluster “Krajina.”
The memorandum was signed by Miloš Galić, Manager of the Agricultural Cluster “Krajina,” and Nataša Arežina, Acting Director of the Public Institution Tourism Organization Mrkonjić Grad.
The aim of this agreement is to establish long-term cooperation in promoting both the tourism and agricultural potentials of the municipality. A particular focus will be placed on promoting local attractions through the digital platform “Discover Krajina”, as well as supporting small agricultural producers and their products.
The memorandum also includes plans for joint promotion of accommodation facilities and rural households that contribute to the development of agro and rural tourism in the region.
Additionally, both parties have committed to working together to connect local producers, tourist attractions, and offers into a unified promotional system, strengthening the recognition and sustainable development of the Mrkonjić Grad area.
