JOIN THIS YEAR'S "TROTOART" FESTIVAL

Inspired by the positive reactions of citizens and tourists for the third consecutive year, as part of the "Banja Luka Spring," the Street Performers Festival "TrotoArt" will be organized.

In this regard, all street performers and those who would like to participate in this event are invited to apply for participation in the Festival, which will once again gather artists from June 7th to 9th. These artists, with their cheerful spirit, voice, movement, color, and sound, captivate passersby and attract the attention of all generations.

As conveyed by the Festival's Project Team, all artists and groups are welcome to apply regardless of gender, age, skills, professional or amateur status, or the number of members. Among them are musicians, singers, actors, performers, dancers, painters, animators, and entertainers.

"We expect applications primarily from individuals and groups from Banja Luka, but also from other cities in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as from neighboring countries. Anyone who captivates passersby and attracts the attention of all generations with their cheerful spirit, voice, movement, color, and sound can apply, whether they are our fellow citizens or dear guests," they said.

Applications are open until April 12, 2024, and should be submitted via email to: trotoart.bl@gmail.com.

In the message, the following information should be provided:

• performer's name and surname;
• group/band name and number of members;
• brief description of the performer (how long they have been performing, what they perform, etc.);
• type of performance (concert, performance, etc.);
• it is preferable to attach at least one photo from a performance.

The Festival's Project Team will select participants based on the submitted applications and create a detailed festival program.

It is important to emphasize that Banja Luka, thanks to the splendid events throughout the year and especially the rich program of the "Banja Luka Spring" last year, broke all attendance records. Interesting content attracted a large number of tourists from all over the world to our city, which significantly contributed to Banja Luka's hoteliers, hostel owners, and other accommodation providers, as well as restaurateurs and traders who experienced increased turnover as a result.

In this regard, the goal of the city administration is to continue this trend this year, with a particular focus on enriching the offerings during the spring period, when the beauty of Banja Luka comes to the fore, which can certainly be used as an advantage to position our city on the map of regional centers with rich event content.
