A free screening of the film “Hercules” directed by Marko Dukić will take place at the Art Cinema of Banski Dvor in Banja Luka on November 18, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
Free tickets can be collected at the Banski Dvor box office on weekdays, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The number of seats is limited to 50, so early pickup is recommended.
The screenplay and direction are by Marko Dukić, with Ljubiša Savanović in the lead role. The cast also includes Ksenija Marinković, Nina Nešković, and Izudin Bajrović.
The creative team features Saša Petković (Director of Photography), Slobodanka Pilić (Production Designer), Duška Kukavica Vujmilović (Costume Designer), Igor Suzić (Sound Designer), and Petar Bilbija (Composer).
The world premiere of “Hercules” was held earlier this year at the Barcelona International Independent Film Festival.
The film tells the story of a depressed man on the verge of suicide, who gradually rediscovers hope and purpose by caring for a cicada larva, transforming his chaotic life and proving his worth to himself and those around him.
“Hercules” was supported by the Audio-Visual Center of Republika Srpska, the Film Center Serbia, and the City of Banja Luka. It was produced by Nikola Đaković of Didaskalija in collaboration with Studio Spotless (Banja Luka), Talas Film (Belgrade), and Peglanje snova (Zagreb).
