The first Festival of Fruit Brandy and Healthy Food, "Zdravica," was held in the Small City Square in Prijedor as part of the city's Day celebrations on May 16th.
This unique event provided festival-goers with the
opportunity to explore the rich cultural heritage of the region through one of
its most beloved products - brandy.
"The festival included a range of activities and
attractions, including tastings of various brandies, expert lectures on the
distillation process, interactive workshops, gastronomic specialties, and a
rich cultural and entertainment program," said the Tourism Organization of
Republika Srpska.
Dijana Aramanda, the director of the city's Tourism Organization, stated that the Festival also celebrates the anniversary of the founding of the Potkozar House.
This is a place where stories meet, where local producers
are supported, and where new friendships are formed. Every product has its
story, and we are here to tell it to you - Aramanda emphasized.
The Festival is supported as part of the project "Promoting Economic Diversification in Rural Areas of Southeast Europe (SEDRA II) - Building Value Chain Capacities in Agriculture and Rural Tourism through Employment Opportunities," implemented by SWG in partnership with GIZ.
