"SAČ FEST" BRINGS COMPETITION, FUN, AND BIG PRIZES TO BIJELJINA ON MAY 31

The tourist complex Čičino Sokače, with the support of the Tourist Organization of the City of Bijeljina, is set to host the exciting “Sač Fest” on May 31, promising an unforgettable day of delicious food, friendly competition, and great entertainment.

“Join us for a major cooking competition featuring traditional dishes prepared under the sač, with generous cash prizes and an unforgettable atmosphere!” say the organizers.

Competitors will battle it out in the art of cooking under the sač—a centuries-old Balkan method of slow-cooking meat and vegetables under a domed metal lid covered with hot coals. The stakes are high, with the first prize set at 2,000 KM, second prize at 1,000 KM, and a special sač awarded for third place.

But the day isn’t just about cooking. Visitors can expect plenty of fun, socializing, and a live viewing of the UEFA Champions League Final in the evening, making this a full-day event for all generations.

“Registration fee is 100 KM,” explain the hosts at Čičino Sokače.
