"SEMBERSKA KUĆA" TO BECOME A NEW TOURIST ATTRACTION IN BIJELJINA

The Bijeljina City Assembly, at its 2nd regular session, approved the decision to allocate business premises at King Peter I Karađorđević Square to the Tourist Organization of Bijeljina. The space, covering 227 m² with an additional 108 m² of outdoor seating, was previously home to "Om Café."

"SEMBERSKA KUĆA" TO BECOME A NEW TOURIST ATTRACTION IN BIJELJINA

This location is set to host the long-awaited "Semberska Kuća" (The Semberija House).

“Semberska Kuća” is envisioned as a true tourist and economic treasure of our city, where local products—Semberija’s best advertisement—will be showcased and sold. Small and large entrepreneurs alike will have the opportunity to present their rakija, liqueurs, wine, honey, chocolate, pastries, meat and dairy products, natural cosmetics, fruits, and vegetables. A special section will be dedicated to souvenirs, as well as product tastings,” said Bijeljina Mayor Ljubiša Petrović.

It is expected that every organized tourist visit to Bijeljina will either start or conclude at this venue.

Another innovative idea is the launch of a “Mobile Semberska Kuća”, which will function as a delivery service, bringing local products directly to customers' doorsteps. This initiative aims to facilitate the sale and distribution of goods for both buyers and producers.

“This will introduce a modern approach to promoting Semberija’s products and producers, easing the certification process and creating new job opportunities,” added the mayor of Semberija’s largest city.
