SNOW COVERS MANY PARTS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA AS WINTER ARRIVES

Snowfall across many parts of the Republic of Srpska this weekend has brought the first real winter scenery, covering mountain landscapes in white, particularly around Romanija, Jahorina and Han Pijesak.

The first snow of the season fell on Jahorina and Ravna Romanija overnight, while snowfall was also reported in other higher-altitude areas across the Republic of Srpska.

ROADS REMAIN OPEN

Snowfall in the Romanija, Jahorina and Han Pijesak areas has not caused any traffic disruptions. Road maintenance crews remain on duty and are monitoring the situation.

Dragan Buloščić, Technical Director of the road maintenance company "Romanijaputevi", told the Srna news agency that all roads across the Sarajevo-Romanija and Upper Drina regions remain passable.

The first snowy landscapes signal the arrival of winter in the mountain regions of the Republic of Srpska, transforming them into picturesque destinations with the first snowfall.
