Radovan Vukoje, Director of Vukoje Winery, told reporters that this year's Žilavka Salon hosted more than 650 guests from all over the world.

- We are proud of what our Žilavka has achieved and the impact this event has had. This is the most significant event in our country dedicated to an indigenous grape variety, and also one of the most important in the region, said Vukoje.

The Minister of Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Srpska, Denis Šulić, expressed satisfaction that this fair has been held for eight years, highlighting that the Republic of Srpska is recognized on the regional map as a good producer of wine, as well as olive oil.

Trebinje winemaker Božo Sekulović told reporters that this event is significant for Žilavka, as it provides an opportunity to showcase their products to wine lovers and experts.

Before the opening of the Žilavka Salon, an informal meeting was held with Herzegovinian winemakers, exhibitors at the salon, and representatives of the fair event "Wine Vision of the Open Balkans."

The coordinator of the "Wine Vision of the Open Balkans" fair event, on behalf of the Belgrade Fair, Zdenka Kostić, invited all wineries and distilleries from Herzegovina to join this event in November, which is the largest fair in the region.
