The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina has invited interested stakeholders to join the “Herzegovina Wine Route,” a certified Cultural Route of the Council of Europe – “Iter Vitis,” and take advantage of the many benefits that membership offers.
The benefits include joint promotion, international visibility, participation in fairs, media presence, and members-only events such as the “Herzegovina Wine Route” Festival.
The “Herzegovina Wine Route” represents a cultural route with a centuries-old tradition of wine production in the region, the Foreign Trade Chamber explains.
Although wineries are its most prominent part, the “Herzegovina Wine Route” also includes hotels, hospitality facilities, tourist agencies, and other entities connected with economic development and the promotion of the region.
The “Herzegovina Wine Route” is managed by the Chamber in cooperation with the cities and municipalities of Trebinje, Ljubuški, Čitluk, Mostar, Čapljina, and Stolac. It was established in 2007 by the Tourist Board of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton as part of an EU-funded project and today brings together 39 members.
The application form and regulations are available on the Chamber’s official website.
