BATHING AND RELAXATION AT 1300 METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL

The ski center "Ravna planina" is situated in the Gornje Pale settlement and is well-known as a frequent choice for residents of Sarajevo when it comes to weekend getaways or day trips.

Due to its close proximity to the Olympic mountain Jahorina, Ravna planina gains even more attractiveness as a destination, attracting numerous tourists with its beauty. The ski center "Ravna planina" offers 12.5 kilometers of ski slopes, groomed to the highest modern standards.

Among its offerings, the ski center "Ravna planina" features a ski lift capable of accommodating 800 skiers per hour, a ski kindergarten, a baby lift, and a gondola - a cable car - for transporting skiers and all interested visitors, which until now was only available in world-class ski resorts.

This gondola, as part of the Jahorina Express project, is the only one of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina, consisting of 19 cabins, each capable of carrying 10 skiers, amounting to 2200 skiers per hour.

The gondola operates from the restaurant "Gondola" to the top of the main slope, where artificial snow lakes and another new facility, the "Gondola Cabin", are located. From this location, all visitors can enjoy an exceptional view that stretches from Pale and Sarajevo on one side to Jahorina, Zlatibor, Romanija, and beyond on the other.

The purpose of this gondola is not only to be used during the winter season but also to be actively utilized throughout the year for panoramic sightseeing, providing a unique experience.

In addition to its diverse offerings during the winter season, the ski center "Ravna Planina" seriously aims to develop into a true recreational hub, as plans for the summer season include biking trails, hiking paths, zip-lining, swimming in the lakes, and many other activities for active enjoyment of nature.
