FILMING OF THE DOCUMENTARY FILM ABOUT THE VILLAGE OF TRNOVO HAS BEEN STARTED

Screenwriter and dramatist Aleksandar Bijelić started filming a documentary film about his village Trnovo, near Šipovo.

During his studies at the Academy of Arts, from time to time, the thought of making a film about his village Trnovo, located on the slopes of the Lisina mountain between Šipovo and Mrkonjić Grad, appeared in his head.

- At that moment, time and resources did not allow me to undertake this endeavor. Now, when I have been a graduate screenwriter for some time and when I have a bit more time encouraged by people who are also natives of my village, I decided to make a documentary film about my village during the next six months. It is important to say that this is not only about moral or ideological support, but also about significant financial support, from many people from Trnova, which is probably a kind of production. More precisely, all these people are the direct financiers of the film because we all want to make a great film, in this case the first and only documentary film about our village, which will include historical, geographical, social and all other events, stories and facts more or less known to us as people from that village - Bijelić told SeeSrpska.

The plan is for fifteen interlocutors to appear in the film.

- The film will be shot in most locations in Trnovo, and in the surrounding villages such as Gerzovo, Baraći, Medna, but it is also interesting to point out that a couple of filming days will also be in the heart of Vojvodina, more precisely in the towns of Čurug, Bečej and Sombor as well as in Novi Sad due to the large emigration of my compatriots to those regions - Bijelić told us.

Aleksandar is an author, director, screenwriter, presenter, narrator, but also a kind of film producer.

- On the first three filming days, director of photography Luka Malić and his assistant Saška Subić were present on the field next to me. In addition to the two mentioned, the editor, composer, sound master and some other professional people will also participate in the creation of the film - concluded the young artist from the area around Šipovo.
