AWARD FOR BANJA LUKA FILM IN LISBON

The short documentary film "The Old Man and His Dream", directed by Duško Mazalica, has won the Best Cinematography Award at the Oblivion Frames Festival in Lisbon.

AWARD FOR BANJA LUKA FILM IN LISBON

The award was presented to Milan Banjac, with contributions from Luka Malić and Saša Karakaš Šikanić also recognized as part of the film’s outstanding visual team.

The documentary tells the story of a 91-year-old man living in solitude, whose unwavering will to live leads him to make a life-changing decision—buying a mare to improve and enrich his daily life, despite the many hardships he faces.

The creative team behind the film includes: Duško Mazalica, Jovan Narančić, Milan Banjac, Luka Malić, Petar Bilbija, Saša Karakaš Šikanić, and Predrag Blagojević.

The cast features: Nikola Milašinović, Mile Mandić Žuna, Gojko Mazalica, Drago Mazalica, and Goran Trkulja.

The film was produced with the support of the Audio-Visual Center of the Republic of Srpska.
