YOUNG ACTORS FROM TREBINJE IMPRESS THE AUDIENCE WITH A HUMANITARIAN PERFORMANCE

In a packed hall of the Youth Center, members of the Drama and Recitation Section of the Primary School “Sveti Vasilije Ostroški i Tvrdoški” in Trebinje staged a true theatrical celebration last night.

The performance, titled “The Award of Professor Vujadin Kostić,” delighted the audience not only with the talent of the young performers but also with its noble purpose.

The play was inspired by the cult novel “The Hat of Professor Kosta Vujić,” while the successful adaptation and direction were led by Serbian language and literature teacher Slađana Škrivan.

A BLEND OF ACTING AND MUSIC ON STAGE

The young actors managed to authentically bring to life the spirit of past times and school anecdotes. Outstanding performances were delivered by Natalija Višnjevac, Jana Kovačević, Slobodan Nadaždin, Tara Pejović, Marija Čolović, Katarina Šakotić, Teona Zirojević, Lana Mulina, Miljana Novčić, Ana Sparavalo, and Matea Čomora.

A special touch to the performance was given by the choir, consisting of Ana Andrić, Sara Ilić, Andrea Nosović, Lena Vujinović, and Lana Kisjelica, whose singing further enriched the emotional atmosphere of the story.

HUMANITY IN ACTION

What makes this performance truly special is its humanitarian character. All funds collected from ticket sales and voluntary donations will be directed to a school excursion fund, ensuring that all students, regardless of their financial situation, can travel together with their classmates.

This is yet another example of how the school “Sveti Vasilije Ostroški i Tvrdoški” nurtures true values among its students — through art, unity, and empathy.
