PHOTO CONTEST MARKING FOČA DAY

In anticipation of the upcoming Foča Municipality Day on May 9th, the Foča municipality has announced a public competition for the best photograph under the theme "Foča, My Town".

The contest welcomes submissions capturing people, nature, or other distinctive elements of this local community. Participation is open to all individuals, with a deadline set for April 23rd to submit a maximum of three photographs via email to fotokonkurs@opstinafoca.rs.ba, along with the author's details: name, address, phone number, and email address.

An appointed committee by the municipality's chief will evaluate the entries, considering the artistic recognition and authenticity of the photographs. The first prize amounts to 300 KM, followed by 200 KM for the second, and 100 KM for the third. Additionally, a special audience award worth 100 KM will be determined by Facebook users' likes on the Foča municipality page.

In the event that none of the submissions meet the contest criteria, the committee reserves the right not to select any winner and potentially redistribute the contest prizes. Moreover, if a selected photograph is later identified as a photomontage, the municipality retains the right to revoke the award decision, with the awarded individual obligated to return the prize money, as outlined in the public competition terms.

The contest results will be announced on the municipality's website, followed by the announcement of the time and place for the presentation of the winning photographs and the award ceremony.
