YOUNGSTERS FROM GRADIŠKA CONTINUE IN "RHYTHM OF EUROPE" AT FESTIVAL IN NORTH MACEDONIA

A vocal-dance group from Gradiška, consisting of Karla Obradović, Maja Skakić, Lucija Cvijić, Tamara Kotur, and Andrijana Kovačević, presented the song and choreography "Behind the Smile" by Sanja Vučić.

With this performance, the young women from Gradiška will participate on March 16th in Strumica, North Macedonia, at the Grand Festival of Music and Dance Competition for Children and Youth, "Rhythm of Europe."

Last year, they won second place at the "Republic of Srpska in the Rhythm of Europe" festival, held in Gradiška, earning them participation in the festival in North Macedonia.

Dragutin Kovačević, head of the mayor's office in Gradiška, reminded that the city on the Sava River has been participating in this festival since 2021.

- This competition gives young people an additional chance to express themselves, to present their talent, and the environment they come from, said Kovačević at the ceremony held on the first day of March in the "Arena" Sports Hall in Gradiška.

The aim of this festival, it was said at the press conference, is to encourage, develop, recognize, and preserve young talents, promote interculturality, tolerance, gender equality, respect for human rights, and diversity.
