Nine-year-old Uroš Milanović from Bijeljina has returned from Madrid with an experience he will never forget. After successfully completing a seven-day training camp organized by Real Madrid, one of the world's most renowned football clubs, the young player received an official invitation to return next year.
This achievement is the result of five years of dedicated training and hard work at his local football academy, proving that talent and commitment are recognized even on the biggest stages.
Training Like a Professional
Uroš trained in an international group of 12 boys from different countries, with all communication between players and coaches conducted exclusively in English.
The schedule was demanding. Each day, participants spent around ten hours at the camp, including two two-hour training sessions, theoretical classes, recovery time in the swimming pool, and two-hour matches against players from other groups.
The intensive program gave young footballers the opportunity to improve their skills, gain valuable experience, and get a glimpse of the training standards associated with one of the world's most successful football clubs.
Artificial Intelligence Assessed the Players
In addition to being monitored by a professional coaching staff, participants were evaluated using modern AI technology introduced at the camp this year.
The system analyzed speed, motor skills, technique under pressure, game awareness, and other key aspects of player development. Uroš received high marks and valuable feedback on areas where he can continue to improve.
Among the Top Four in His Group
At the end of the camp, four boys from Uroš's group were selected to receive official invitations for next year's program. The young footballer from Bijeljina was among them.
"This was a wonderful experience for me. I trained on the same pitches where Ronaldo, Mbappé, and many of my other role models have trained. I met friends from all over the world. The training sessions were very demanding, but I learned a lot and can't wait to come back next year," Uroš said.
For this talented young player, the Madrid camp was much more than football training. It was an opportunity to build friendships, experience an international environment, and take another important step toward achieving his sporting dreams.
