Banja Luka will host the BLART Art & Music Festival from August 26 to 29, bringing a four-day programme dedicated to art, music, film, literature and theatre. The festival will take place at the DKC Incel cultural centre.
The festival opens on Wednesday, August 26, with the play
“Svemaјkino”, directed by Muhamed Adem Merđanić and performed by Magični
Teatar.
On Thursday, August 27, visitors can attend the opening of
the exhibition “This Is A°merica”, presented by the Minotaur Rex art collective
and Muhamed Kafedžić. The evening will continue with a concert by Dunjaluk.
LITERATURE AND FILM ON FRIDA
Friday, August 28, will be dedicated to literature and film.
The programme includes a presentation of the book “Ovo se ne može izbrisati” by
author Andraž Rožman.
The audience will also have the opportunity to watch “Yugo
ide u Ameriku”, a film directed by Filip Grujić and Aleksa Borković.
CONCERTS AND DJ SET TO CLOSE THE FESTIVAL
The final day, Saturday, August 29, will begin with a
programme titled “Kult buvljak”.
The evening’s music programme will feature performances by
sv. Pseta, Jesss, and Skier and Yeti, while Marie Chené will be in charge of
the DJ set.
The organisers have also prepared a series of accompanying
workshops, including a DIY screen-printing workshop, screen printing with Lea,
and a magic workshop with Magični Teatar.
Over four days, the BLART Art & Music Festival will
bring together different forms of artistic expression, offering audiences a
diverse programme that connects contemporary art, music, literature, film,
theatre and creative workshops.
