AFTER THE CONCERT – A THEATER PERFORMANCE FOR BABIES IN BANJA LUKA

Following the success of the baby concert held as part of the “A String” festival, which attracted a large number of local residents, Banja Luka will now host a theater performance specially designed for babies.

The performance, based on the poetry of Tode Nikoletić and directed by Aleksandar Pejaković, is titled “Happiness is Written with Children”. The premiere will take place on September 25 at 10:00 AM at Banski Dvor, with a first reprise scheduled the same day at 5:00 PM.

“With the performance for babies, ‘Happiness is Written with Children’, we want to celebrate life and new beginnings. We believe that theatrical art can serve as a reminder of the value of every child, of every new citizen of Banja Luka and the Republic of Srpska,” said Adriana Basara, authorized signatory of the Department for Family Care and Demography in the City of Banja Luka.

“Through imagination, music, and warmth, we want to inspire hope that Banja Luka and the Republic of Srpska will echo with more children’s laughter and cries, more first words, first teeth, and first steps — all contributing to a better demographic picture of our city. There is no nobler mission than to support birth and family. After all, Banja Luka itself is one big family,” she added.

The artistic concept of this baby-friendly production is led by the Student Theater and the creative group “Little Puppeteers.”

The expert and creative team includes renowned theater professionals, doctors, pediatricians, and psychologists, ensuring that every detail is carefully adapted for the youngest audience.

Admission to the performance is free, but the number of seats is limited.

Interested parents can collect free tickets starting Tuesday, September 16, on weekdays at Banski Dvor. One ticket will be valid for the entire family.
