A UNIQUE ADVENTURE ON MANJAČA MOUNTAIN THIS SEPTEMBER 14

The sixth annual “Zmijanjski Marathon 2025” will take place on September 14, organized by Alfa Trail on the scenic Manjača Mountain near Banja Luka.

“We have fantastic news. The 21-kilometer race is officially happening – all thanks to you. Your support is the heartbeat of the trail community,” the organizers proudly announced.

This year, the trail comes with some changes – and even more breathtaking views.

“The route no longer includes Grčka Gradina, but the landscapes you’ll pass through look like they belong on a postcard. We’ll be running through beautiful Zmijanje homesteads, where warm welcomes await from hosts like Jasna, Voja Đurđević, and many others,” the statement continued.

Organizers shared that local hosts were asked for just one thing: to dedicate their Sunday to cheering on the runners, sharing their homemade delicacies, and upholding the tradition – with rakija, of course, as a signature specialty of Manjača.

“Manjača is not just a trail – it’s an experience, a display of hospitality, and a celebration of friendship. Let’s work together to make this race unforgettable,” the call to this Banja Luka adventure concludes.
