OPEN-AIR CINEMA RETURNS TO BANJALUKA THIS SUMMER

The city of Banjaluka is once again bringing the magic of outdoor cinema to residents and visitors as part of the long-running "Summer on the Vrbas 2026" festival.

The traditional event, which has been held for decades, features a diverse program of cultural, tourism, sports, and entertainment activities throughout the summer.

According to Milica Radović, an independent professional associate at the Banjaluka Tourist Organization, the festival continues to attract both locals and tourists with a wide range of family-friendly events.

As part of this year's program, the youngest visitors will be able to enjoy open-air screenings of animated films in the relaxing surroundings of Liberation Park.

The screenings are scheduled for July 7 and July 14, starting at 8:30 p.m.

"Summer evenings are even more beautiful under the open sky, especially when they are filled with favorite animated movies. Bring your blankets, your good mood, and join us for magical summer nights full of laughter, adventure, and beloved cartoon characters. See you at the cinema under the stars," the Banjaluka Tourist Organization said in its invitation.
