On September 7, the town of Višegrad will host the “Višegrad 5K” — a five-kilometer race expected to attract more than 300 participants from Serbia, Montenegro, Republika Srpska, and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mayor of Višegrad, Mladen Đurević, stated that the municipality will provide full support to the event’s organizers.
Nikola Todorović, a local from Višegrad and the initiator of the race, emphasized that the town deserves such a sports event and that Višegrad should send a strong message of unity and the importance of sports.
The race will feature two categories: the main 5,000-meter run for adults, and a children's race divided into several age groups.
Organizers have announced special prizes for the top performers. The participation fee is 30 KM and includes a race T-shirt, a chip-equipped bib number, and a sponsor gift package.
Registration is open until August 24, and all details can be found on the official webiste.
