"THE BLACK QUEEN'S TRAILS": RIBNIK TOURIST ORGANIZATION PROMOTES NATURAL BEAUTY AND ANCIENT LEGEND

The Tourist Organization of the Municipality of Ribnik organized a promotional hike today titled "The Black Queen's Trails," aiming to showcase the natural beauty of the Ribnik area and the ancient legend of the queen who supposedly ruled these lands in the Middle Ages.

The hike "The Black Queen's Trails" was attended by representatives of the tourist organizations of Republika Srpska and Ribnik, tourists from Serbia, and residents of this and neighboring municipalities.

After the hike, which was organized as part of the project to brand the Black Queen as a local tourist offer, the "Black Queen's Menu" was also presented at the Simetić rural household.

The Director of the Ribnik Tourist Organization, Svjetlana Elez, stated that one of the trails is about two kilometers long and leads to the Okomoljak viewpoint, which offers a magnificent view of the Sana River canyon, while the other trail is about three kilometers long and leads to the Skolovača viewpoint.

"The trails are well-marked and easy to follow, making them suitable for all nature lovers, regardless of physical fitness. At the Okomoljak viewpoint, there is a photo frame with the motif of the Black Queen, where tourists can create their personal postcard," Elez told reporters.

She added that the greatest thanks for the project's realization are owed to the mayor of the municipality and the Tourist Organization of Srpska, which fully supported the project of branding the Black Queen as a local tourist offer.

The promotion of the "Black Queen's Menu" was attended by the Director of the Tourist Organization of Srpska, Kostadin Vasić, the Mayor of Ribnik, Nebojša Karać, representatives of tourist agencies, local restaurateurs, and the Craft Brewery from Mrkonjić Grad.

Vasić expressed his gratitude to the hardworking people who live in this area and successfully showcase all its tourist potential.

Karać emphasized that the municipality fully supports this project, as well as all the people who are involved and invest their efforts in its realization.

The owner of the "Varcar" Craft Brewery from Mrkonjić Grad, Jugoslav Župić, said they were happy to accept the invitation to participate in this program, where they presented their homemade dark beer, which contains the essence of blackthorn from the Sana River canyon, and is featured on the "Black Queen's Menu."

As part of the project presentation, a promotional film about the Black Queen was also shown.
