CAMPING AT TRNOVAC LAKE - A BLEND OF NATURE, ADVENTURE AND RELAXATION

Nature lovers and mountain enthusiasts have the opportunity this summer to spend an unforgettable four days at one of the most beautiful mountain gems in the region - Trnovačko Lake, located at the foot of Mount Maglić.

Camping Tara is organizing the camp in two terms: from July 16 to 19 and from July 30 to August 2, with departure from Foča.

The price of the arrangement is €170 per person.

ACCOMMODATION AND TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

Participants will stay at Trnovačko Lake, with the option of accommodation in a cabin next to the lake.

The journey includes organized transport from Foča to Prijevor, as well as all necessary fees. From Prijevor, there is a hike of approximately one hour and thirty minutes to the lake.

FOOD AND LOGISTICS

The price includes all meals during the stay, offering an authentic mountain experience:

• traditional “sač” meal prepared by the lake
• kettle dishes cooked over a campfire
• homemade kajmak and cheese from local mountain huts (katuns)
• barbecue and traditional dishes

Horses are provided for transporting equipment, making the stay in mountain conditions easier and more comfortable.

ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAM

Ascent to Maglić

One of the main activities of the camp is a guided ascent to Maglić, the highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The climb and return take around 5 hours, accompanied by local guides.

Visit to a mountain katun

During the stay, participants will also visit a nearby katun above the lake, where they can experience traditional mountain life and taste local homemade products.

Free time

The rest of the time is reserved for rest, swimming, photography, and enjoying the unique atmosphere of Trnovačko Lake.

Return is planned for Sunday after breakfast.
