Immediately after the dramatic match, Romero shared his impressions through articles and video materials on various platforms, providing insights into the event from the largest city in the Republic of Srpska.

The journalist from the Spanish newspaper Marca included a video featuring the passionate supporters and wrote:

Balkan fans are among the most passionate in the world. It doesn’t matter whether it’s Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia... or the Republic of Srpska! The Round of 16 match between Borac and Rapid has already become part of Bosnian football history, as it is the first time a team from this region has reached this knockout stage in a European competition. Although Borac fans do not identify with the country of the blue-and-yellow flag, their passion was undeniable – reported Romero.

He stated that he had expected an electrifying atmosphere and was not disappointed by the fans’ energy.

The display of flares, flags, scarves, and fireworks was equally matched by the heavy police presence, aiming to prevent any incidents before a match that will surely find its place in the history books – the Spanish journalist concluded.
