Sanela Šimun, Public Relations Associate at the Tourism Organization, stated that mountain destinations recorded a 4.4% increase in overnight stays, while spa resorts experienced an identical 4.4% rise.

"Other tourist destinations, such as those with climate, cultural-historical, river, and lake attractions, saw a 3.3% increase in overnight stays," Šimun added.

On average, visitors stayed 2.5 days in Republika Srpska during their trip.

As in previous years, the highest number of visitors—aside from domestic tourists—came from neighboring countries, particularly Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Montenegro. Among other nations, the most notable were Turkey, Germany, Austria, China, and Italy.

According to Šimun, domestic tourists primarily chose destinations offering natural and cultural attractions, such as climate resorts, historical landmarks, river and lake areas, followed by spa and mountain resorts.

Foreign tourists, on the other hand, spent the most nights in spa resorts, followed by culturally attractive areas and then mountain destinations.

These positive tourism indicators reflect a growing interest in Republika Srpska as a diverse and appealing travel destination.
