Very warm weather is expected in the coming days across Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), with temperatures reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius midweek, meteorologists have announced.
According to the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute, tomorrow will be mostly sunny and warm, with a slight chance of brief, light rain in some southeastern areas. Morning temperatures will range from 9 to 15°C, or around 6°C in higher elevations, while daytime highs will be between 28 and 33°C, and about 23°C in the mountains. Winds will be light to moderate and variable.
On Tuesday, June 3, the weather will remain very warm and mostly sunny, with occasional light to moderate cloud cover. In the afternoon, cloud development is expected in the north, which may bring brief rain in isolated areas. Morning temperatures will range from 10 to 17°C (around 7°C in higher areas), and daytime temperatures from 29 to 34°C (around 23°C in the mountains).
Warm conditions will continue on Wednesday, June 4, with moderate, and occasionally strong, southerly winds developing during the day, making it even hotter. Morning temperatures will be between 12 and 18°C (around 9°C in higher areas), while daytime highs will range from 31 to 35°C (around 25°C in mountainous regions).
The very warm weather will persist on Thursday, June 5, although some cloud development is expected in the west during the afternoon, possibly bringing brief, scattered rain showers.
