HEATWAVE ON THE WAY: TEMPERATURES UP TO 39°C FROM AUGUST 8

A new heatwave with hot and sunny weather is expected to hit the region starting August 8, according to meteorologists. Current forecasts indicate that the heatwave could last between seven and ten days.

Until then, cooler weather with below-average temperatures for this time of year is expected. In the next two days, most parts of the country will see moderate to mostly cloudy conditions, with sunnier weather in southern Herzegovina.

On Wednesday, isolated light rain or short-term showers are possible. During the day, a moderate northerly wind will blow across most regions. In Herzegovina and the southwest of Bosnia, moderate to strong gusts of bora wind are expected, which will also be present on Tuesday.

From Friday, temperatures will begin to rise significantly, with most areas expected to reach between 33°C and 39°C over the weekend.
