WINTER TIME CHANGE IS COMING: HERE'S WHEN TO TURN THE CLOCKS BACK

On the night between Saturday and Sunday, October 27th to 28th, we will once again adjust our clocks as we switch to winter time.

WINTER TIME CHANGE IS COMING: HERE'S WHEN TO TURN THE CLOCKS BACK

Exactly at 3 a.m., the clocks will be set back by one hour, providing an extra hour of sleep but also bringing an earlier sunset.

Winter time in Bosnia and Herzegovina follows the practice applied in most of Europe, aiming to better align daylight with working hours. Although discussions about ending seasonal clock changes have been ongoing for several years, EU countries have yet to reach a final agreement.

Bosnia and Herzegovina, which follows EU regulations, will continue this practice until a different decision is made.

While many welcome the additional hour of sleep, experts point out that switching to winter time can negatively impact the body's biological rhythm, especially in children and the elderly. It is advised to adjust daily activities to help the body adapt more easily to the change.

Winter time will last until the last weekend in March 2025, when the clocks will be moved forward again by one hour, marking the start of daylight saving time.
