Trebinje is gearing up for the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays with a vibrant program designed for locals and visitors from neighboring countries and Western Europe. The festivities will include an open-air concert on New Year’s Eve, according to the Trebinje Tourism Organization.
“There will be an outdoor celebration and concert for New Year’s Eve, with the names of the performers to be announced later,” said Nikola Kokić, spokesperson for the Trebinje Tourism Organization.
He noted that interest in spending New Year’s Eve in Trebinje is already high, with hotel and accommodation availability under Mount Leotar quickly running out.
“Many hotels will organize individual parties and New Year’s Eve celebrations in their venues, and most of them are already fully booked,” Kokić added.
Hotels are expecting to welcome their regular holiday guests, many of whom return year after year to celebrate New Year and Christmas in Trebinje. These visitors predominantly come from Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a growing number from Western Europe.
Kokić also announced plans for a New Year’s Bazaar, a Children’s New Year celebration, and a rich and engaging program tailored for both residents and the numerous tourists eager to spend the holiday season in Trebinje.
