WHAT AWAITS VISITORS IN THE WINTER TOWN ON THE BANKS OF THE SAVA RIVER

Gradiška will officially open its magical “Winter Town” on December 14 at 6 p.m., bringing festive lights, family activities and a special musical performance by popular singer Tijana Dapčević.

As in previous years, the ice skating rink in front of the Gradiška Cultural Center will welcome visitors throughout the season, while skating on opening day will be free for everyone. Those arriving on the first evening will also be able to enjoy a charming Chocolate Festival.

A rich program of events is planned within “Winter Town.” The “Ice Games Without Borders” will take place on December 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. On December 17, from 10 a.m. to noon, preschoolers can take part in a creative workshop titled “Awaiting Saint Nicholas.”

A family-friendly “Treasure Hunt” is scheduled for Sunday, December 21 at 12 p.m.

Children will also be treated to a theater performance, “New Year in the Little Kingdom,” on Thursday, December 25 at the Cultural Center, with showtimes at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

On Friday, December 26, visitors can enjoy an evening of warm mulled wine accompanied by festive melodies performed by the OMŠ “Branko Smiljanić” Entertainment Ensemble, the Lira Choir and participants of the “Rhythm of Europe.” The following day, Saturday, December 27, is reserved for fun with animator Ivan the Superhero, joined by other performers and Santa Claus from noon onward.

The youngest residents of Gradiška will have the chance to welcome the New Year early, celebrating together with the Vrapčići Choir in Winter Town on Sunday, December 28 at 12 p.m.
