The Joint Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia on Border Crossings has made decisions regarding the temporary extension of operating hours at several border crossings.
A decision was made to temporarily extend the working hours
of the permanent border crossings for local border traffic: Vinica – Aržano
Pazar, Subašići – Dvorine, Tržačka Raštela – Kordunski Ljeskovac, Zagrad –
Pašin Potok, Kaldrma – Lička Kaldrma, and Prolog – Podprolog.
"The working hours of these border crossings will be 24 hours a day, every day, for a period of three months or until the next meeting of the Joint Commission," officials stated.
From June 2 to October 1, 2025, the following crossings will
also operate 24 hours a day: Čitluk – Jovića Most, Drinovci – Sebišina, Duži –
Imotica. In addition, for the next three months, the same 24-hour schedule will
apply to the crossings Gabela – Gabela Polje I, Hadžin Potok – Bogovolja,
Orahov Do – Slano, Kozarska Dubica – Hrvatska Dubica, Vaganj – Bili Brig, and
Drinovačko Brdo – Slivno.
"We advise citizens to check traffic conditions at
border crossings before traveling and to use the nearest or alternative border
crossings with lower traffic volume. We emphasize that the Border Police of
Bosnia and Herzegovina is taking all necessary measures to reduce congestion
and waiting times at border crossings," stated the BiH Border Police, as
reported by Nezavisne novine.
