Acting Head of the Department for Culture, International Cooperation, Sports, and NGOs, Aleksandar Milješić, stated that a record number of gift packages were secured for the youngest citizens with the support of Mayor Slobodan Javor.

Milješić noted that the event aimed to extend holiday greetings to the children attending the celebration.

“We wished them all the best in 2025. The City Administration and all of us will do our best to make life in our city better, more comfortable, and more beautiful,” Milješić told reporters.

He added that New Year’s packages were also delivered to children currently undergoing hospital treatment.

The New Year’s program for the youngest included appearances by Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, as well as members of the “Neven” Association, and performances by Hana Okić, Miljana and Maša Gašić, Maša Đikić, Kalina Odicki, Tijana Tripić, and members of the “Kike-Tacke” Acting School.

This event is part of the “Prijedor Winter 2024” program.
