TROPIKO BAND TO PERFORM IN DERVENTA FOR ORTHODOX NEW YEAR

Popular Tropiko Band will entertain locals and numerous visitors in Derventa during the celebration of Orthodox New Year on January 13, the Derventa City Administration announced.

The concert by Tropiko Band will take place at the Square of Orthodoxy, starting at 9 PM. However, festivities for the younger audience will begin earlier, at 8 PM.

"We always ensure that both our youngest and older attendees enjoy the celebration. This event would not be possible without the support of the City Administration, led by the mayor, who serves as the main patron of this event. For our youngest guests, we have prepared a fun program and activities such as face painting," said Dalibor Đekić, president of the Serbian Educational and Cultural Society "Prosvjeta." He added that free mulled wine will be available for all attendees.

The event is organized by "Prosvjeta" with additional support from the Tourist Organization, National Library, and the Serbian Orthodox Church Parish.

Half an hour before midnight, a prayer service (moleban) will be held at the Cathedral Church of the Dormition of the Holy Mother of God. The evening will conclude with a fireworks display lighting up the skies over Derventa.
