All accommodation capacities in Pale and East Novo Sarajevo have been fully booked ahead of the New Year holidays, with not a single bed left available. A “crazy” New Year’s Eve is expected on Jahorina, emphasized Sonja Danojlić Jovanović, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Jahorina Olympic Center.
Jahorina is once again shining in its full glory, reminiscent of its golden days. Vehicles with license plates from all former Yugoslav republics, as well as from many European countries, are a clear sign that the Olympic beauty has become a top holiday destination this winter season.
“We
are expecting a wild New Year’s Eve on the slopes. On New Year’s night, from 10
p.m. until 2 a.m., skiers will be able to enjoy an open-air bar with drinks and
a DJ, while of course continuing to ski,” said Danojlić Jovanović during her
appearance on the RTRS Morning Program.
She
added that preparations started on time, particularly with discounted pre-sale
prices.
“We
sold a large number of ski passes in Sarajevo, as well as in Belgrade and
Zagreb. Two new ski slopes, Trnovo and Ogorjelica, will also be opened, while
the Olimpik and Prača slopes are being refreshed. Our goal is a full mountain
and satisfied guests,” Danojlić Jovanović concluded.
