The Tourist Organization of the Republic of Srpska is taking part in the 48th International Tourism Fair “UTAZÁS,” held from February 19 to 22 in Budapest. This year’s edition of the leading Hungarian tourism event places special emphasis on active holidays, nature stays, and destinations that offer authentic experiences.
Speaking
to our portal from the Hungarian capital, Marko Radić, Head of the Tourism
Promotion Sector at the Tourist Organization of the Republic of Srpska,
highlighted that visitors are showing the greatest interest in natural
attractions and outdoor activities. These include rafting, hiking and cycling
trails, river cruises, camping locations and organized camps, as well as
adventure and open-air experiences.
“Our tourism offer fits perfectly into the trends promoted by this fair. We are particularly pleased by the fact that around 20,000 tourists from Hungary stayed overnight in hotel and similar accommodation facilities in our destination last year. This clearly demonstrates growing interest and strong potential for even closer cooperation,” Radić emphasized.
The
International Tourism Fair “UTAZÁS” in Budapest is Hungary’s leading tourism
event, bringing together international exhibitors, tourism boards, and travel
agencies. In addition to showcasing new destinations and emerging travel
trends, the fair also features specialized programs such as the Caravan Salon
and the Budapest Boat Show, further expanding its appeal to lovers of travel,
adventure, and outdoor lifestyles.
