Members of the Ju Jitsu Club Jahorina achieved remarkable results representing the national team of Republika Srpska at the World Championship and World Cup held in Greece.
Jahorina, a club on the rise, started training in Pale only eight years ago, and now, less than a decade later, has reached legendary results at the highest level of competition in ju jitsu.
Anja Delipara, who has already conquered Europe and the Balkans, continued her success and became the WORLD VICE-CHAMPION at the World Championship in Greece. Other team members also performed excellently: Pavle Pandurević secured 9th place as a top junior, Dejan Plakalović achieved 9th place as an outstanding cadet, and Luka Savić, a young talent, took 17th place.
Following the World Championship, younger team members continued their success at the World Cup in the U14 category, achieving extraordinary results. Dušan Kusmuk and current Balkan champion Katarina Šupić claimed gold medals, dominating their categories.
Tara Soković earned a bronze medal in a highly competitive category, securing the third medal from the World Cup and the fourth overall from this prestigious competition.
Teodora Simanić and Andrija Čvoro narrowly missed out on bronze medals, while Dejan Jerkić and Stefan Bosiljčić led the younger team at the World Cup as coaches for the Republika Srpska national team.
Pale is immensely proud of these champions and warmly welcomed them home.
