According to data from the Employment Bureau of Republika Srpska, only six people are currently registered as unemployed in the small municipality of Istočni Drvar. Among them, there is one woman and five men.

With these figures, Istočni Drvar holds the top spot in Srpska for having the lowest number of unemployed individuals.

However, the low unemployment rate must be viewed in the context of the municipality’s overall population. According to the latest census, Istočni Drvar has only 79 residents, making it the least populated municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as reported by Glas Srpske.

For comparison, the Employment Bureau of Republika Srpska recorded a total of 54,409 unemployed individuals as of November 30. Among them, 29,204 are women, while 25,205 are men. Additionally, 43,601 unemployed persons have professional qualifications, whereas 10,808 lack formal qualifications.
