A photography exhibition titled “Welcome to Republika Srpska” by author Vladimir Tadić has opened at Pulkovo Airport in Saint Petersburg, Russia, showcasing the natural beauty and tourism potential of Republika Srpska to an international audience.
“It is a pleasure to see my photographs represent the natural landscapes and tourist potential of Republika Srpska to visitors from around the world. These works are the result of my long-term effort to capture the natural and cultural richness of our region, and they are yet another example of my photos reaching places I have never personally visited,” Tadić said.
The exhibition features 12 works depicting national parks, mountains, rivers, and cities across Republika Srpska. Among the locations presented are Zelenkovac, Sutjeska, Kozara, Vitorog, Zelengora with Orlovačko Lake, the Bosna and Janj rivers, as well as Banja Luka, Trebinje, and Višegrad.
Outdoor activities such as hiking, via ferrata climbing, and paragliding are also highlighted in the collection. Tadić expressed gratitude to the Tourism Organization of Republika Srpska for supporting the project.
The ceremonial opening was attended by an adviser to the Minister of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska.
“I am always happy to see interest in new projects. Thank you to everyone who follows my work and the journey our photographs take around the world,” Tadić added.
